Patriots Take Penticton by Storm

70 swimmers, coaches and parents made the long trip to Penticton this past weekend.  We had some great weather, some adventures along the way, some long days and some fantastic swimming.  The biggest highlight was the Patriot relays on Saturday night sweeping all of the age groups.  In both the 11-12 girls and 13-14 girls the club finished first and second in those relays.  In the individual events Lei Lopez let the way by sweeping all the 11-12 girls events and by winning the 11-12 girls aggregate award.  Lei amassed 47 points to lead all swimmers at the meet.  Other aggregate medalists were: Anna Goodway (2nd 13-14 girls), Erica Morningstar (1st senior girls), Courtney Kapustianyk (2nd senior girls), Brittany Ozar (3rd senior girls) and Stuart Gray (2nd 13-14 boys).  Great work team and thanks to our chaperone team that did such a fantastic job all weekend!
